And the quilt is absolutely purrrfect, even cooler than we had imagined it. This is for our son's baby - he's not born yet, some time next month - a Christmas quilt. When I found out I was expecting a girl, I just had to have one of your quilts. I bought it sight unseen and I was thrilled when I received it . It is an I SPY quilt. It was perfect. Of course, I had to take it to the hospital. The nurses all made comments on how beautiful it was. One stated "That quilt is an heirloom for sure." Whenever a family member is expecting, I look forward to seeing your quilt. It always gets quite a reaction from the recipient and crowd. Then there was the BUG JAR quilt. They are really quality work and it shows in all the time and love she puts in each quilt. The first one was the alphabet hand sewn in counted cross stitch that my Mom did for my son. I am going to save it for my grandchildren. It took me 12 years to find someone to make it into a quilt. The second one she made for me is really unusual because it is made with my son's old t-shirts. I included t-shirts from preschool and elementary school, sports, his favorite shirts (from cartoons to fads) and even ones that I had pictures printed on them.
